Blanche Brown (BB): So do you feel like, that even, I guess it kind of, it would have to affect it, because it’s the same sort of thing with the money that the people who own landfill and that sort of thing.

David Caldwell Jr. (DC): Yes, today that’s a money maker.

BB: Yeah, yeah.

DC: Yes, that is a money maker. Now it’s producing methane gas and this is after it’s done. You know, it’s just, it’s rotting garbage that's been dumped there for years. It’s producing methane gas, and the methane gas has been sold to the university. [Pause] Okay? But, so we've had the pot, we’ve filled the pot, we were cooking the food in the pot, and it’s going out to everybody and we still don’t get anything out of it. We don’t get anything. But we’re going to have that landfill still sitting right there producing methane gas for the next thirty years, which will have to be monitored, and not get a dime out of it. Well supposedly, I think their paying, the university, is paying the county $300,000 a year.

BB: Wow.

DC: That’s what I heard in one of the meetings that I went to. So that’s, you know, that’s where it’s at.
