William Gattis: And it did not stop in the ‘50s. We experienced–we are still experiencing part of the fallout, but this went on through the ‘60s. The students from Lincoln High School, this was beginning in 1962 through ‘64, we’re talking about teenagers. And it has also been said that unfortunately, we were taught to respect adults, and unfortunately, you’re respecting the very people who are oppressing you. Why? Because it’s part of your home training. And this has just been an unfortunate thing but–an unfortunate representation of who we are and from how far we have come.
