Terrence Foushee is the Blue Ribbon Specialist for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. During the interview, he reflects on his experiences navigating Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and the Black women educators who influenced him to become a teacher. He also highlights how his parents, who are leaders in the Chapel Hill community, specifically his mom Valerie Foushee, taught him servant leadership and the value of education.
