Hilliard Caldwell - Mary Mason and Harold Foster (clip)

Interviewed by John Kenyon "Yonni" Chapman on March 26, 1991

John Kenyon “Yonni” Chapman (YC): Okay, let’s see, we were talking about Mary Mason and Harold Foster. Did you know them well?

Hilliard Caldwell (HC): I did, I knew them well. Mary and I knew each other– we moved into the same neighborhood many years later. She was married and I was married. And, for about 3 or 4 years, we were about 4 houses from each other.

YC: How about earlier during high school? Did you know each other?

HC: Yes, ‘cause Mary had a brother named Allen that was in my class and I knew him. That’s how we knew each other. And the families were, the Caldwell family were good friends with the Mason family back in the early days.
