Shareka Abbo: Good evening, everyone. My name is Shareka Abbo. I will just say we were very blessed to be able to grow up in this neighborhood. I think we moved here when I was 13 over on Starlight Drive. Just to be close to a community pool, a community center, to be able to hang out with my friends, and my classmates, it was a nice thing to be able to have so close to you, and walking distance also. I am now a proud homeowner, a Habitat for Humanity home across the street [cheers], so not only did I get to experience growing up here and having the opportunity to come to a local community pool but my daughter also has that opportunity now. So I’m very grateful and blessed and thankful for that. I just want to say thank you!
