Patricia “Pat” Jackson (PJ): Alright, we’re up again for our time here at the pool party. All the way in the back, turn yourself…there you go, there you go. Let me just tell you a couple of things about this Hargraves Pool. Back in the day, this area for us was “the place”. Let me just tell you, what had happened was in that very pool I had my very first kiss, all the way down up under the pool. I’m gonna tell you what had happened was my brother was a lifeguard, right up top, supposed to be watching, but what was his little sister doing under the water. Oh boy. When he got home, he was in trouble all day long. All that had happened right over there. All of the events that happened during our time at Hargraves, we make sure at this time that we keep those memories alive. You can do that as well. Sharing your stories. You won’t hear that story that you just heard because that was an original, but that’s alright, it’s on tape now and gonna be loaded up. I hope the Center got their consent forms, I want that one on the board, so that you can make sure that you are there. Don’t make me have to call you out Mr. Hines, but I know some stories can be had about some days here at this Hargraves pool, all about what had happened back then. Alright. I am a native here at Chapel Hill. I’ve spent my whole life right behind me in that pool. Summers were the best, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thank you.
