Earl Bynum: Well, my father had the idea about going to the Town to ask. We need a pool for our kids. You know what I mean? They got together and planned how they were going to build the pool, so here come all of the money that it took to build the pool and we got it. Mr. Aldophus, I remember him as a little boy. He and his wife used to come down and visit the pool as the construction was going on. Finally, after a year and a half or something like that the pool was finished and when they wrote up, you know, the people that donated the money, the people that did the construction, and at the bottom of the page it says, Mr. Eric Bynum, Engineer. That’s my father. He built this pool with the help of a lot of other people but, you know, but I just walked around on a cloud when I saw that. My father was an engineer.
