Picketing

In one workshop, a student at Northside Elementary described picketing as theact of “showing your opinion with your body and words.”   After our visit, teachers said students have expressed desire to picket several things they feel are unjust today.  It was the images and narratives of individuals like the ones pictured here that prompted these young activists.  Ezra Weiss was similarly inspired to create his piece The Do’s and Dont’s of Picketing.
